I LOVED making the people around me feel beautiful & documenting every part of our lives in a candid and fun way. In 2015 I got my degree in Commercial Photography at Appalachian State University (Go Neers!). This is where I fell in love with having a camera in my hands & with Chris which was a perk. I say photographer of people because that’s who I’m about. You & Your stories. What makes you tick. What makes you feel loved. What makes you known. I want my photographs to enable you to see far beyond yourself, and allow you to look back and know exactly how you felt in that moment. 

I am a learner, a fighter, an accepter, and a lover. I like to think I have never met a stranger. I want to make a connection with you. And I want to make a connection with your story. Love is inspiring, so let’s capture it.

and then I realized...

You can find me trying to convince myself to work out, planning our next adventure, or binge watching the newest thing on Netflix. Photography pretty much landed in my lap. My mom has always documented our families life & I have found so much appreciation in that as I have gotten older. Like many of you, at the time I was uncomfortable being in front of the camera. I felt awkward & was never sure what to do with my hands. So I always chose to be behind the camera.

I am a photographer, entrepreneur & educator. I shoot weddings full time and am always dreaming of new ways to grow and build businesses. I live in Nashville, Tennessee with my Husband Chris and our two fur babies Sage and Palmer. If you have been following me on Instagram you might assume that Palmer is my favorite, but Sage will always be our first baby. I spend almost half of the year in North Carolina where I was raised shooting couples and families as well.
